Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 11/04/2026
These Terms and Conditions apply to all orders placed with Bind Craft through our website.
By placing an order, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
1. About us
Bind Craft is a small UK business operated by Ceri Whitfield.
Email: hello@bindcraft.co.uk
2. Our products
Bind Craft sells personalised and made to order items.
Because our products are individually made, slight variations in colour, finish, texture, and placement may occur. We do our best to ensure product descriptions and photographs are accurate, but minor differences may arise due to screen settings, materials, and the handmade nature of the finished product.
3. Placing an order
It is your responsibility to check all order details carefully before submitting your order, including:
-
names
-
dates
-
spelling
-
colour choices
-
design selections
-
delivery details
By placing an order, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
4. Personalised and made to order items
Our products are made specifically to your requirements.
Because of this, once production has started, your order cannot be cancelled simply because you have changed your mind. Goods made to a consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised are generally exempt from the standard online cancellation rights. This does not affect your rights if goods are faulty, damaged, not as described, or do not match the personalisation details provided in your order.
5. Prices and payment
All prices are shown in pounds sterling.
Delivery charges, where applicable, will be shown before you complete your order.
Payment must be made in full before production begins unless we agree otherwise in writing.
6. Order acceptance
After you place an order, you may receive an order confirmation email. This confirms that we have received your order request, but does not necessarily mean that production has started.
We reserve the right to contact you if any order details need to be clarified before production begins.
We also reserve the right to decline or cancel an order before production starts where necessary, for example if:
-
the item is unavailable
-
the order contains obvious errors
-
the personalisation request is unsuitable
-
we suspect fraud or misuse
If we cancel an order before production starts, any refund due will be made to the original payment method.
7. Changes and cancellations
If you need to change an order, please contact us as soon as possible at hello@bindcraft.co.uk.
If production has not yet started, we may be able to amend or cancel the order at our discretion.
Once production has started, cancellations and order changes will not be accepted.
8. Production times and delivery
Any production times, dispatch dates, or delivery estimates shown on the website are estimates only unless we have specifically confirmed otherwise.
We are not responsible for delays caused by postal or courier providers, events outside our reasonable control, or delays caused by incomplete or incorrect information supplied by the customer.
Risk in the goods passes to you when the goods are delivered to the address provided in your order.
9. Faulty, damaged, incorrect, or misdescribed goods
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions affects your legal rights.
If your item arrives faulty, damaged, incorrect, or not as described, please contact us within 14 days of delivery at hello@bindcraft.co.uk and provide:
-
your order number
-
a description of the issue
-
clear photographs where possible
If we confirm that the goods are faulty, damaged, incorrect, or not as described, we will provide an appropriate remedy in line with your legal rights. Depending on the circumstances, this may include a repair, replacement, price reduction, or refund. Consumers retain statutory rights where goods are faulty or not as described.
10. Customer supplied errors
We are not responsible for errors in the information you provide when placing your order, including:
-
spelling mistakes
-
incorrect names or dates
-
incorrect colour or design choices
-
incorrect delivery information
Please check all details carefully before submitting your order.
11. Handmade variation
As each item is individually made, small variations in appearance may occur.
Minor variations that arise from the handmade nature of the product will not usually be treated as faults unless the final item is materially different from what was ordered.
12. Returns
Please refer to our Returns Policy for full details.
As a general rule, personalised and made to order items cannot usually be returned or cancelled once production has started unless they are faulty, damaged, or not as described.
13. Intellectual property
All text, images, branding, product designs, and website content created by or for Bind Craft remain the property of Bind Craft unless otherwise stated.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or use any of our content or designs for commercial purposes without our written permission.
14. Website use
You agree not to misuse this website, interfere with its operation, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of it.
We may update or withdraw website content, product listings, or services at any time without notice.
15. Privacy
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
16. Liability
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
We do not exclude liability for goods that are faulty, misdescribed, or not of satisfactory quality.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:
-
losses not caused by our breach
-
business losses where you are purchasing as a consumer
-
delays caused by events outside our reasonable control
-
losses caused by inaccurate information supplied by you
Written terms should be clear and fair, and should not attempt to remove core consumer rights.
17. Complaints
If you have any complaint about your order or our service, please contact us at hello@bindcraft.co.uk and we will try to resolve the issue fairly and promptly.
18. Governing law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the law of England and Wales.
Any disputes will be subject to the courts of England and Wales, unless another part of the UK gives you the legal right to bring proceedings there.
