Returns Policy

At Bind Craft, every item is made to order and personalised specifically for the customer.

Because our products are custom made, orders cannot usually be cancelled or returned simply because you have changed your mind once production has started. Goods made to a customer’s specifications or clearly personalised are generally exempt from the standard cancellation rights that apply to many online purchases. This does not affect your legal rights if an item is faulty, damaged, not as described, or does not match the personalisation details you provided.

We carefully review each order before production begins, and each finished item is quality checked again before dispatch.

1. Order cancellations

If you need to cancel or amend an order, please contact us as soon as possible at hello@bindcraft.co.uk.

If production has not yet started, we may be able to cancel the order at our discretion and issue a refund.

Once production has started, cancellations will not be accepted.

2. Non-returnable items

We do not accept returns or offer refunds for:

  • personalised or made to order items once production has started

  • orders where the customer has approved the design, wording, colours, or other custom details

  • items where the customer has changed their mind after production has started

  • items where the personalisation details supplied by the customer were incorrect

  • minor variations in colour, finish, or placement that can reasonably occur with handmade products and do not materially affect the overall design or quality

3. Faulty, damaged, incorrect, or misdescribed items

Nothing in this policy affects your legal rights.

If your order arrives faulty, damaged, incorrect, or not as described, please contact us within 14 days of delivery at hello@bindcraft.co.uk and include:

  • your order number

  • a brief description of the issue

  • clear photographs showing the problem

If we confirm that the item is faulty, damaged, incorrect, or not as described, we will provide an appropriate remedy in line with your legal rights. Depending on the circumstances, this may include a repair, replacement, partial refund, or full refund. Consumers retain statutory rights where goods are faulty or misdescribed, and a returns policy cannot remove those rights.

4. Customer responsibility for personalisation details

Please check all names, dates, spellings, colours, design choices, and delivery details carefully before placing your order.

We are not responsible for errors submitted by the customer, including spelling mistakes, incorrect dates, incorrect names, incorrect colour choices, or incorrect delivery information.

5. Handmade variation

As each item is individually made, slight variations in colour, finish, texture, and placement may occur.

We do our best to ensure product photographs and descriptions are accurate, but minor variations arising from the handmade nature of the product will not usually be treated as faults unless the item is materially different from what was ordered.

6. Return process

Please do not send any item back without contacting us first.

If a return is required because the item is faulty, damaged, incorrect, or not as described, we will provide instructions for the next steps. Where the issue is our responsibility, we will either cover the reasonable return costs or agree a suitable alternative.
